Delegation from INTI University, Malaysia Visits Our University for Exchange

On April 23, a delegation led by Dato' Chan Yew Sin, Chairman of the Board of Governors of INTI University, Malaysia, visited our university and held a forum, accompanied by Chen Xiaofei, Secretary-General of Guizhou Provincial Education International Exchange Association. He Xingfa, Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Zhan Qianjiang, Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice President, attended the meeting.

Prior to the forum, the delegation visited a number of education and training venues, including the Guizhou Transportation Museum & Education Hall, Wolongshan Tunnel, Automotive and Electromechanical Specialty Cluster, and Cultural Qiandao Art Museum. They gained a systematic understanding of the development history of Guizhou’s transportation sector, experienced the university’s achievements in transportation talent cultivation and integrated theoretical and practical teaching in an immersive manner, and appreciated the unique charm of Guizhou’s diverse ethnic cultures. The delegation spoke highly of our university’s distinctive school-running features and profound cultural atmosphere.

During the forum, on behalf of the university, He Xingfa extended a warm welcome to Dato' Chan Yew Sin and his entourage, and comprehensively introduced the university’s development history, school-running achievements and future development plans. He noted that INTI University enjoys a sound reputation and rich experience in international education. This visit has built a solid bridge for exchanges between the two institutions. He expressed the hope that both sides would deepen cooperation and pursue mutual benefits and win-win results in specialty development, talent training, faculty exchanges and other fields in the future.

In the subsequent interactive discussion session, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on specific cooperation matters.

The activity was attended by relevant officials from the Academic Affairs Office, Enrollment and Employment Office, Rail Transit College and School of International Education.
